Bald Head Island is reachable only by passenger ferry — golf carts & bike only with miles of undeveloped shoreline. From Sand Dollar Dreamin, you're a short golf cart ride or walk from the beach, the marina, Old Baldy Lighthouse, and the maritime forest trails that make this island unlike anywhere else on the East Coast. We offer guests an option to purchase guest access to Bald Head Island Club and Shoals Club. Mornings mean coffee on the screened in porch or back deck, or a quick walk up the street to Midway Coffee or the market; evenings mean sunset walks on the beach and the kind of quiet that's hard to find anywhere else.
